Things to Do
Lakewood has many cute and engaging events that are worth your time. Cider Days is perhaps the most quaint of their celebrations. This event celebrates Lakewood’s agricultural history with live performances, delicious harvest treats, wagon and barrel rides, and a tractor pull. The festival features a diverse offering of vendors, demonstrations, exhibits, and children's activities, making it fun for the entire family.
Festival Italiano is a two-day event and another fun option. It takes place in Belmar and celebrates everything having to do with Italian heritage. Tasty food, artisan vendors, music, colorful sights, and entertainment reflect and pay homage to Italian culture.
During the summer, Lakewood has its Big Boom Bash to celebrate the Fourth of July, and it’s as exciting as the name would imply. Some available amenities include food trucks, booths, family-friendly activities, and beer. What better way to celebrate America’s Independence than with a blazing firework display?
